Volunteer
What is Volunteering?
Volunteers offer a really valuable service at The Corner House, working alongside and supporting our members in a variety of activities. Volunteers who work in the centre offer regular time each week to share their broad range of skills and experience with our members. These include helping to run activities, fund raising, providing a listening ear, helping on outings, cooking meals, DIY, sports, and leisure.
Why become a Volunteer at The Corner House?
The Corner House offers a unique, supportive, and friendly setting for our members, volunteers, and staff. There is always something happening in the centre and we welcome new ideas and activities which will be of interest. Volunteering is a rewarding way to mak\e a difference to someone's life, make a difference in your own life, gain experience, learn new skills and perhaps do things that you never thought you would do.
